Lawrence Blacher, M.D., FACC, is a cardiologist at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. He specializes in preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and blood vessels and has more than 35 years of experience caring for patients. He is dedicated to transforming cardiovascular care and improving heart health through patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement. His clinical interests include preventative cardiology, hypertension, atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure. Dr. Blacher has been a co-investigator on numerous research and clinical trials. He has served as a sports medicine and cardiology physician for the Miami Open tennis tournament for the past 30 years.
